* Real time printer management (if there is a problem with any of the printers, out of paper, paper jam, switched off. It will send a message to the POS with a message stating the problem before an order is sent and maybe lost. You can either choose to fix the problem or select another printer to use.
* Inverted messages for kitchen printers (orders printed sometimes contain comments such as well done, rare.. when this happens on the thermal PI printers, a black box is printed and the text comment is white.
* New Wireless networking for pi printers means that there is no cables between PI printers and the POS which means there are less likely to be problems with connection, this also means that the printers can be moved around the kitchen at any time, also ideal for functions either inside or out.
